SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed in regards to the large variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] status sassa is to reach-out to the high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area daily. The company point created for intervention experiences a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to permit the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
